Peyote'nin ilk üç sırası kolay şekilde;

En sevdiğim boncuk dizme şekillerinden biri "peyote stitch" denen şekil. Ama ilk üç sırası beni neredeyse boncuk dizmekten vazgeçirmek üzereydi ki bir kolaylık buldum. Belki daha evvel birileri denemiştir bunu ama ben kendim keşfettim diye kendimle çok iftihar ediyorum sakın beni bozmayın.

'Square stitch' denen boncuk dizme şeklini kızım Sunadan öğrendim. Bu dizmeyi  Suzanne Cooper'ın sitesinde de görebilirsiniz.

Peyote dizmenin öğretimini hemen hemen her boncuk sitesinde bulabilirsiniz.

Peyote stitch's first three rows the easy way;

I love peyote stitch. But while I was trying to do the first three rows I was almost decided to stop beading because it was so frustrating. I have found an easy way to do the first three rows. Maybe somebody else have tried that but I am so proud of myself thinking that I invented something, please don't tell me if they did.

I learned 'square stitch' from my daughter Suna.

1 metre kadar misina kesin. 2 tane boncuk (1ve 2) geçirip tam ortaya çekin. Misinanın iki ucunu 3 nolu  boncuktan çaprazlama geçirin.  İpliği sıkı sıkı çekin. Misinanın iki ucuna birer (4 ve 5)  boncuk geçirip,  6 numaralı boncuktan iki ucu çaprazlama geçirin.  Bu şekilde arzu ettiğiniz ene gelene kadar devam edin.  

Bunun ismi "square stitch".  

İpliğin bir ucunu sonra devam etmek üzere bırakın. Diğer uca bir boncuk alıp 13 numaradan geçirin. Bir boncuk alıp 10 numaradan geçirin ve böylece istediğiniz uzunluğun yarısına kadar devam edin.

Bu şekilde çalıştığınız zaman 3-6-9-12-15 numaralardaki boncuklar  yatay olarak görünecekler. Her iki tarafı da eşit uzunlukta işlediğiniz zaman tam ortada kalacağından, eğer küçük bir çanta veya onun gibi birşey yapıyorsanız,  herhangi bir değişiklik yapmanıza hacet kalmaz. 

Take about one metre long nymo. String 2 beads. Push them in the middle. String both end of the tread to number 3 bead from both sides. Pull the tread tight. Now string two beads on two ends of the tread (4-5)  and string one  bead (6) on both side across and pull the tread tight. Continue in this manner until you reach the desired width. This is square stitch. 

Leave the one end of the tread to work later. At  the other end, pick one bead go through the number 13, pick another bead go through the number 10 bead and so on...

When you work this way,  the beads numbers 3-6-9-12-15 will be horizontal but if you are doing an amulet bag or something similar they will be in the bottom  without disturbing the view so you can continue the other side the same way. 

Eğer birtek parça olarak kullanacağınız birşey yapıyorsanız ipliğe iki boncuk (1-2)  geçirdikten sonra ipliğin iki ucunu birden tek bir boncuğa (3) geçirin. Tekrar iki uca 4 ve 5 numaralı boncukları  ve sonra iki ucu birden tek boncuktan (6) geçirin. Bu şekilde devam edin. İki boncuğu yanyana tutmaya dikkat edin. İstediğiniz uzunluğa geldiğinde peyotenin ilk üç sırasını işlemiş oldunuz.

Şimdi  artık boncuk dizme keyfiniz kaçmadan  peyote dizmeye devam edebilirsiniz. 

Misinanın uçlarından birine ince bir iğne geçin. Bir boncuk alıp 11 numaradan geçirin. Bir boncuk alıp 8 numaradan, bir boncuk alıp 5 numaradan, bir boncuk alıp 2 numaradan geçirin.  Ve bu şekilde arzu ettiğiniz uzunluğa  kadar devam edin. 

İlk metod benim için o kadar rahat bir çalışma şekli oluyor ki, boncukların yatay durduğunu görmek istemiyorsam birkaç sıra peyote çalıştıktan sonra, boncuklar muntazam bir şekilde durmaya başlıyor, ve ilk iki sırayı söküyorum.

İşte size saçlarınızı yolmadan kolaylıkla takip edeceğiniz bir peyote boncuk dizme. Çok zor gibi görünmesine rağmen emin olun normal peyotenin ilk üç sırası kadar değil.

If you are doing something which requires one single piece then start with two beads (1-2), then string both end of tread to the same number  3 bead, separate the tread again string two beads 4-5, again string both ends to a single bead 6. Continue until you reach your desired lenght. Be carefull to keep the two beads side by side. You finished the three rows of peyote stitch.

Now you can start continuing with the peyote stitch without loosing your joy of beading.

Tread one side with a fine needle. String one bead, pass from bead number 11,  string another  bead pass from bead number 8, string another  bead pass from  bead number 5, string another  bead pass from  bead number 2. Continue this manner until you reach  your desired lenght.

The first method is so comfortable for me that after few lines of peyote stitch the beads behave themselves, and if I don't want to see the horizontal beads I take off the first two lines. 

This is the easy way of starting peyote stitch  without tearing up your hair. It seems hard but believe me it is not as hard as the first three rows of normal peyote stich.

Dikkat; Eğer misina kullanıyorsanız artık iplikleri küçük küçük keserek çöpe atın. Zira çöplükte karnını doyurmaya gelen kuşların gagalarına sarılarak onlara zarar verebilir. 

Gene dikkat etmeniz lazım gelen bir nokta daha; kırılmış iğnelerinizi açık olarak çöpe atmayın. Bir küçük plastik şişeye toplayın, şişe dolduğu zaman sıkıca kapatıp öyle atın.

Attention;  If you are using fish line for bead stringing don't discart the big pieces of left over tread, first cut them to small pieces. Because the fish lines may be entangled to the beaks of the birds which comes to feed themselves off the garbage.

Another thing; don't throw the broken bead needles to the garbage. They are very sharp. Collect them in a plastic vial or bottle then close the lid tightly and discart that way.
