Antalya, Beycik; this is my heaven on earth. 

Beycikte 2004 yazı  - Summer 2004 in Beycik

 Bu yaz torunum Tarık Kanadadan bizi ziyarete yalnız başına geldi. Diğer torunum Füruzanla ikisi pırıl pırıl denizin tadını çıkardılar.

This summer my grand son Tarik came from Canada all by himself. Together with my granddaughter  Füruzan they enjoy the clear sea in Kemer, Antalya. 

Akdenizin en güzel yerlerinden biri Phaselis.  Buradaki suyun temizliği ve berraklığı hiçbir yerde yok diyebilirim.

Phaselis is one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean.  I  have never  seen  cleaner and clearer  water anywhere else.

Bu çınar ağacı eksper olmayan tahminlere göre belki bin  senelikdir. Beycikteki bahçemizdeki güzelliklerden bir tanesi, yanda resmini gördüğünüz bahçeye  girdiğinizde ilk gördüğünüz küçük evin yanında yer alıyor. 

This maple tree, according to inexpert opinion, is maybe a thousand years old. It is one of the many beauties in our garden in Beycik, it is situated beside the little house which is the first house when you enter the garden.

• Berrak bir günde deniz elinizi uzatsanız tutacakmışsınız gibi geliyor. 

• On a clear day it seems that you can reach and touch the sea. 

• Bulutların aşağı indiği bir günde dağların manzarasına doyum olmuyor. 

• When the clouds are closer to the earth the mountain scenery is out of this world.

• Gördüğünüz deniz manzarası değil, denizin üstüne inmiş bulutların görünüşü.

• This is not the sea that you are looking at, they are the clouds decended to the sea.

• Kasım ayında akşamları serin olduğu zaman şöminenin sıcak alevinin karşısında oturmak çok zevkli oluyor.

• In November the evenings are cooler, it is wonderful to sit across a fire place with a warm fire going.

Herhalde dünyanın en tatlı üzümleri bunlar.  Kasım ayına geldiğimiz şu günlerde Metin son üzümleri topluyor.

These are the sweetest grapes on earth. Metin is picking the last grapes of the season.

Bu narın büyüklüğü  benim kafam kadar diyebilirim.

I can say that this pomegranate is as big as my head.

A spot of heaven in Beycik is the hotel and the stately villa which you see in the photos below. The owner is selling Villa il Castello. If you wish to findout more click Villa il Castello 

Another lovely spot in Beycik is the Olympos Mountain Lodge Hotel, which you see in the few pictures below... It is a small hotel but very comfortable and the owners are so very friendly and hospitable... Views are simply out of this world..
